Can a topmount sink be replaced with an undermount sink?

I have Corian countertops with a topmount sink, but want to replace it with an undermount sink. One of the main problems is that there isn't enough countertop left at the back to put a faucet in, so the faucet would have to be installed on the undermount sink. looks like I'm stuck with a topmount, but wanted to get some feedback.
Can a topmount sink be replaced with an undermount sink?
