Kitchen faucet leaking when washing machine is on.?
I have a goose neck faucet with a hot and cold valve on either side in my kitchen sink (on the main level). When the washing machine in the basement directly below is run, the faucet starts leaking at about 1/4 the normal amount of water that would run if the valves were turned on. I have lived in the house for 6 years, and have never experienced an issue with this. before I call a plumber, has anyone ever seen this before? I am capable of replacing the washers or valve systems myself if that is all this is.
