Spring is not only a time for cleaning windows and scrubbing floors but also organizing, de-cluttering and updating your current look inside your home.
Stephanie Stephan, owner of Stephan Design in Lafayette, gives tips for how to add a breath of fresh air to a stale look indoors:
1. A coat of paint is an inexpensive way to change the look of a room. You can even just paint one wall to change the look of a space.
2. To incorporate spring indoors, use crab apple branches, flowering almond branches or pussy willow branches and water to create a floral arrangement. Place the arrangement in front of a window for a fresh look.
3. Change your decorative candles from dark colors to light and fresh colors.
4. Change pillows in the spring. Choose pillows with bright floral patterns for sofas and chairs.
5. Rearrange accessories or furniture to open up a room. in the spring and summer less is more.
6. Orient the furniture to incorporate a window so you can bring the outdoors inside.
7. Add artwork with a floral motif to bring the outdoors inside.
8. Paint a floral motif or design on old doors and hang in your home as wall art. You can also hang old windows on a colored wall to incorporate the outdoors into your home.
9. Decorate with bird nests. You could make your own nests and use wooden eggs.

our faucets part that allows the faucet handle to grip the wall base are broken and worn, we cant' turn water on at all now, i have no clue what those little parts are called, i can't find brand name on fixture, and have been to 4 different stores including home depot, does anyone know where else i could look?
where can i find parts for my bathtub faucets?
