1268925916 Why would water run out of my kitchen faucet when someone takes a ...

I have replaced the stems in both hot and cold sides of kitchen sink. They are turned off, yet when the shower or stool are used the water comes out of the faucet in a steady stream. as soon as the shower or stool shuts off so does the flow in the kitchen sink. HELP!!!
