Would you be interested in having a working, hand operated, antique style pump on your kitchen counter sink?
A few years ago we built a new and larger kitchen on to our house. being a ranch style home in the country we decided on an old style country kitchen design with a porclein sink in the counter and when deciding on what sink and faucet combination for the island we came up with the idea of a working pump and brass sink. I engineered a tank and keep fill system that sits under the counter and holds five gallons of filtered water from our existing well water supply. it works great and everyone who sees it seems to like it. I have been considering assembling kits for the do-it-yourselfer's or contractors and offering them for sale but don't know if there is a market for such an idea. having been a frequent viewer here I thought this may be a good place to test the idea out.
